The last in my street photography series from Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina is featured here. I had fun, and learned from the experience and great feedback provided by folks like you.
Thank you for taking time to visit. For the best viewing experience, check these out in high resolution by clicking on an image. You can also see the complete series from the Uptown Charlotte Gallery on my portfolio site.

Sometimes I wonder if Frank Gehry got the idea for his oddly shaped buildings from looking at reflections like in your last photo, or the third one from the top. 🙂

I see what you mean – the way way lines are bent and distorted by reflections. Cool observation Hien!

Thanks Ray. Been thinking – last May I did series of Winston-Salem Gallery Hop photos were I took an off camera flash and softbox. There, I was being intentional about getting in close, and did not include any broader cityscape compositions. I simply need to be intentional about including more intimate street portraiture when shooting urban cityscspes. There are times where its appropriate to stay more narrowly focused, but think I may be missing opportunities by not “seeing” both. 😊

Great street shots! I especially like the way the limited color works in ‘E Trade St Composition 2’!
